Nubbins

Since two of my nails broke I've taken some time choosing whether or not to cut them all down and start again.... I did it... and I miss them!! But now my nails at least look good again!

This is the length I'm starting off with right now... so it'll be nail art for short nail for a bit!

Broken nails :(

It's time again....my nails have been growing wonderfully for a long time and suddenly my thumbnail breaks at the same spot as always, also my middle nail on the same hand is braking off from both corners.... sooo I'll be doing some swatching on my other hand until I have healthy nails on both hands again.

I just heard the thunder roaring! I hope you all can understand this and be paitent.... I'll still do the nail art challenge and come up with some new ideas and hope for the sun to shine again soon!!

No nail wheel?

Yes, it's a fact.... I haven't bought any polishes for a while.... but don't be sad, I have plenty to show you anyways! First, I went through my stash and picked you every polish not swatched for you and this is the result:

As you can see.... a lot of bottle to swatch! Also I wanted to show you naked nails. They are finally as even as they'll ever be and the sun was out today!

Bare naked... but not for long. Today I'm trying out Zoya - Chrystal!

Naked nails

I thought it was time to show you again....  I took pictures a while ago, but wanted to take new ones... so I did! But before I had the time to take the photos I broke a nail....sooo unhappy right now!! But, I'll show you anyway, including the broken nail.

On top is my right hand and below the left one. Of course I fixed the broken one, but now it's short.... well, there you have them at least.... and I hope that I can keep them like this for a while!

Naked nails

Well.... the are growing, but they are also breaking and peeling so they are NOT the same length....

I don't really like it that way but it's hard to keep them the same when one or two breaks. They are also getting discolored and yellow. That show up mostly at the tips and that's how they get when you keep them polished a lot!

As you can see, my right thumbnail is cracked and glued together again in two separate places. It has a green color to it just because I had green nail polish on and didn't get all of it off..... If you look at the length of my right pinky, that's the lengt I wish all my nails were.... It would be perfekt!

Ok, one more month has passed and I took this photo on the 26nd of Februari, just two days ago. As you can see I-ve had to cut them down because of breakage and splitting.... You can actually see it on the first photo on my indexfinger....

Now they are pretty even and looks pretty good without polish on, but what the heck....it's fun to paint!! I still haven't felt any differens due to the Silica, althouh I guess I have to wait a full six months before my nails have fully grown out again!

Naked nails

It's been a month since a showed you my naked nails.

My nails are still brittle and does flake and because of that it's really hard to keep them all the samt length! I still wanted to do this as I want to be able to see when or/and how the silica works for me. As for now I don't seem to see any differens, more than that my nail grow a tiny bit faster....

Yesterday I had a battle with a couple of big boxes containing our new officechairs and the nail on my left middle finger broke... I also see that my right thumbnail is starting to crack....looks like it's gonna be gluetime soon for it!

Can you see the little crack on the thumbnail, just below the white near the cuticle? I don't now why it's doing that. It's been like that since I started growing them long. Well, some glue will fix it!

Naked nails

Jag startade det nya året med naturliga naglar... ingen nyårsmanikyr för mig.... Jag och min pojkvän var hemma ensamma utan barnen så vi valde att inte göra något speciellt  förutom maten! Därför har min naglar fått en välbehövlig vila från nagellack! Min tumnagel är fortfarnde limmad, jag står inte ut med tanken att klippa den.... Resten ser inte heller jättebra ut just nu, jag skyller på den kalla och torra vintern och att jag fortfarande jobbar på dem.

In english: I've started this year off with naked nails... no new years-mani for me.... Me and my boyfriend were home alone wtihout the kids so we didn't bother to do anything special except for food! So, therefore my nails got a well deserved rest from polish! My right thumbnail is still glued together, I can't stand the thought of cutting it...The rest is not looking that good either ritght now, I blame the cold and dry winter and that I'm still working on them.
