Depend 6006

Pulling out my favorite one from the Magnetic Collecion 2012.

It really took me a long time to get this is because it apparently was everybody else's favorite too....

The collection came out on spring 2012 and I was finally able to put my paws on this one in September! It works just like any other magnetic polish. One regular coat and then one were you apply the magnet to get the shape. Worked like a charm, although I find the magnet a bit to small and these don't have that edge you sometimes need for support against the finger.

When putting on the first coat you can't see the nice shimmer, it show up after the magnet has been applied.

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 6008

A dark blue in the bottle but when I put the magnet to it it sparkles and the lines become purple! Did the magnet on the third coat.

Don't have that much more to say, I really like it!

Hope you enjoyed!

Gothic Blue?

Another one where I could not help my self doing a double!

Both these polishes are from Isadora and I started out with putting on two coats of Gothic Black (191). It's a plain black creme and did cover in just one coat, but since I new I was putting Mad Blue (814) on top I did an extra coat. Mad Blue is from the Glitter Graffiti collection and glitter like mad :)

A lot of photos, I know, but I really like the combo. The shatter is actually a bit brighter in real lift, but it was hard to capture on camera.

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 228

Ok, here it is, the partner from the Spring Collection 2011. And it really is blue!

Just as easy to deal with as the last one and two coats is enough!

Hope you enjoyed!

Saved by a millionaire?

Throwing in a double because I really liked this combo!

Both these are from Wet'n'Wild and I'm starting off with "Saved by the blue". A nice vibrant blue metallic polish that I just love!

As I already hade a nice base on, I put "Blue wants to be a millionaire" on top and it was a match made in heaven! It's ment to be a scattered holo and I had a hard time catching it in the photos, so I'll throw in a little video as well.... It glistens in a multitude of colors!

I hope that you can see the multicolored sparkles in this polish, it's a lot more sparkly in real life!

Hope you enjoyed!

Modify Me!

It came just in time....

I got this one from Linda for my birthday this week and it's kind of awesome! I had almost forgot about these because I haven't seen that much photos of them. This one is Modify Me by China Glaze from the Tranzitions Collection. It changes color slightly when top coat is applied.

Here I've used a dotting tool to create the dots, but the back of a pen or a tooth pic is just good enough!

Hope you enjoyed!

Steel Blue

This is one of the holographic polishes from Depend and the first collection where all the polishes have names! This one is called Steel Blue (2034).

In the shade this polish is really boring and just steel blue, but when you take it outside and put in direct sunlight is looks completely different...

Not a really strong holographic effect, but just enough! The only downside to this one is that it took 4 coats not to have a VNL, otherwise it dried really fast and look great!

Hope you enjoyed!

Silver Sky

A nice blue shade called Silver Sky (731) from the Pearls of Passion collection by Isadora in 2012.

I was really easy to work with and I put on two coats. I don't really have anything to say about this one so I'll show you the photos instead...

It has a nice silver shimmer but it was really hard to capture. I would call this shade "light blue jeans" because that is what it looks like to me!

Hope you enjoyed!

Teal of Fortune

A wonderful blue polish!

I bought this one and a few other a long time ago and I have swatched them, but never came 'round to trying the on for real. One of the things that also made me a bit hesitant about this one is the brush.
It's really big and "fluffy" and it was really hard to paint with it. As you can see in some of the photos I did mess up on a couple of occations and didn't quite have the time to correct it before taking the photos....

At the top you can see what the brush looks like. The next two photos are taken with a cloudy sky on our way to a birthdayparty and the last two photos are taken the day after in direct sunlight. I actually think that the polish has a green tint to it in real life, but it was really hard to get that on camera.

About the formula I used two coats and as you can see I got VNL. It's not that bad, but I did consider a third one. The brush made the polish go on uneven, but the formula made up for that and it does look really good when i dries!

Hope you enjoyed!

Blue Shatters!

Love this baby blue color with the number 624 from Isadora. As you all now, I can't let a blue polish go by and this is not an exception! The color is dusty but not enough not to call it pastel, somewhere in between...

On top of this nice light blue I decided to put a darker blue grafitti polish and I absolutely love it!!
This one is called Spraycan Blue (805) also from Isadora.

This is going to be a favorite this summer!

Hope you enjoyed!
