Different lines?

As I was rummaging through my "Isadora untried" drawer for todays manicure and had put the once I was choosing from on the table I notice that two of the had the same name, but not the same number. I picked out the swatch-sticks for the two and it really is the same shade! Just wanted to show you....

One of the I bought off E-bay from the UK and the other one of Tradera here in Sweden. This is the only double I got, but I'll be looking more closely now and just not on the number...

The one in the bigger bottle is from the UK and has a regular brush and the other one is available in stores here in Sweden with the wide brush. Anyone living in the UK that can tell me if they sell the bigger bottles in stores over there or is it just older bottles that showed up on Ebay?

Anyway, my mom is about to get a new polish, I'm in no need of two bottles even though the color is pretty! Hope she likes it!

Have a nice day and I'll post todays manicure as soon as I can!

Comparison - Nubar vs KleanColor

I somehow managed to blurt out that a comparison would be nice of these to, so it's time to show it.... I just got Nubar 2010 a couple of weeks ago and just loves it! The KleanColor Chunky Holo Black I've had for a while but never really had an urge to try...

So, I've put together some photos for you to see the differences, and it's quite a lot! Let's start!
Check out the bottles first of all....The Nubar is in a clear base while the KleanColor has a tinted base (red) I can also tell that Nubar has only irregular shaped flakes and that there are hexagonal "glitters" (both big and small) as well as smaller round "glitter". From what I can see there is no "flakes at all in the KleanColor bottle.... As for the smell: Both of them are pungent, but I think Nubar is a bit better... Now on to the painting...

I  did a completely black base for both of them and put Nubar on my pinky and middle finger and I got KleanColor on my ring finger and index finger. The first photo is taken after just one coat of each polish. Both does very well, although the KleanColor is a bit tacky and gooey and hard to get even. When I put the second coat on it worked out well with the look and application, the KleanColor was harder. I almost had to place the "glitters" and the coat get really thick.

I did swatch these on a nail wheel just to see the differences above a little better....
From L to R: Nubar, KleanColor, Nubar (on black), KleanColor (on black)

Now you can see the tinted red base of the KleanColor one and as you actually can see here it's rather hard to get it even.

I guess you've already managed to guess which one I love more! Nubar is the superior one and if you are considering to buy one of these, I would recommend Nubar!

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 227

This was a really hard one to catch in a photo, but I gave it a try.....

It's a emerald green, I think, with a shimmer in it. This one is from Depends Spring Collection 2011 and is one of twelve colors for spring I've showed you earlier. The formula is like every other Depend polish, not to thick and not to runny. The brush is as always a bit hard to maneuver and if you're not fully concentrated it goes everywhere! This one a créme and dries without and streaks or brush strokes visible. I like the color because it reminds me of the spring when all the trees get their leaves and everything get their colors back!

The picture above was the most color accurate I could get..... although my skin looks a bit awkward! Before this I did a little comparison because both me and my friend thought this polish is very similar in color to Depend 54....

Index- and ringfinger is 227, the other two 54
This is what you get if you do not tweak the settings on your camera.... anyways, it shows exactly how similar they are, except that the 227 (boring namnes, I know) has the shimmer in it....

Hope you enjoyed!
