French Lily

I wanted to give you a proper swatch of this one even though it's made for a French manicured tip. This is French Lily (5).

It gives an uneven look if you try putting it on the whole nail, but for a nice French tip it work really well and the formula is great for that. Above I put 3 coats on and it's still not opaque enough to wear as a full manicure.

These last to photos is for you to see the difference. The first one is without any polish and on the second one I put 2 coats of French Lily just on the tip. It evens out any imperfection without looking to white.

Hope you enjoyed!

French Manicure!

After a bit of a break from nailpolish I'm starting off with a nice glamorous French manicure. I've used Isadora Glamour White (649) for the tip and Claudia Glistening Snow (168) as the top coat.

This is photos from my iPhone, nothing fancy but it really shows the sparkles!

Oh, and I did make some finds at the after christmas sales, but those I'll show you in time!

Hope you enjoyed!

Week 20 - Bows mani

Alright, I was torn on this one between doing a konad mani or to freehand it. Yesterday I went to my brother-in-laws birthday and wore a regular french manicure. As I'm not ready to leave that one just yet, I did black bows as an accent.

First I'll show you the base color.... This is Isadora Oyster (112). Perfectly nice for a base, but I found it to opaque to have after I painted the white tips.... It's also good to have on it's own it own if you just want some light shimmer!

I did the normal white tips with Isadora Glamour White (649) this time and I was surprised of how nice they looked.... On top of that I put Isadora Flourishing Pink (09) to give it a pink shimmer all over.

And this is how it ends up if you need to dress yourself after you painted you nails.... Fortunately this only happened to my left thumb!

And for todays challenge.... the bows!

Not that great, but still looks cute from a bit of a distance! I will wear this until it starts to chip... it's not that often I'm able to paint a nice French manicure because of my weak nails.....

Hope you enjoyed!!

French Recruitment

As I was going to an recruitment fair today I wanted my nails to look good, not my usual stained naked nails....

This time I chose a beige base with a pink shimmer (Isadora 09, Flourish Pink) and then a plain white tip (Isadora 603, Tip White). I freehanded the tip and I'm really proud that it looks quite god! Here it is....

Week 2 - French Tip Mani

"Are you classy, funky, modern or trendy! Your french tip does not have to be just 1 white line!"

I'm actually most on the classy side, but took my chance. This is my take on the classic French Mani....I use Turquoise (114) from Isadora on the tips and covered the whole nail with Glistening Snow from Claudia. The 2 first photos are without the Claudia polish and the last to with it so you can see the difference!

And clumsy as I am I managed to destroy two of the nails after photographing them! The last photo shows my middle finger without the shimmer.... These are two of the colors that I found in my "untried" drawer and they are now considered tried and gets to move up to their other tried friends!!

Hope you enjoyed!
