Ready for a couple of weeks of holos?

Here they come!

These are the one's left from Holografic Collection released in 2012. The one's I've already shown you are: Steel Blue (2034), Charm Pink (2029), Lavender (2031), Denim Blue (2032), Ocean Blue (2033) and Ocean Green (2036). You can also find the links on my collection page.

This one i named Silver(2025) and looks really good. It is silver and the formula, unlike the others I've tried, is really sheer, almost clear. Here I'm wearing three coats.

White Silver

Frosty metallic looking silver polish can never go wrong!

This is White Silver (625) from Isadora covers in two coat, but it was really easy to get brushstrokes and lines. It shines like crazy in the sun and I wore it for a whole week without any problems!

Stripers

As I already had Silver Sparkles on, I decided to put on the different color stripers just to show you...

This time it is a regular black one from Lovie (no2) that is a bit tricky to paint with, I had to redo my pinky... And the other one is a really sheer pink one by Depend called 1070.

Silver Sparkles

A nice silver foil!

I like these kind of polishes. It's quite sheer, but due to the silver and foil texture you don't need more than two coats to be happy! It was easy to put on and dried fast.

It sparkles in the sun and I have nothing bad to say at all!

Depend 291

The last one for the X-mas 2011 collection and as I painted my nails with this one I realized that it was a lot lighter than I expected. I thought that I would be a graphite grey with shimmer and it turned out to be a nice silver, somewhere between metallic and foil in texture..... Love it!!

It's feels a bit sheer. This is two coat and I'm happy, but it almost needs a third.

Cloudy days

As I promised, the stamping on yesterdays swatch....

This on is stamped with Depend 223, a silver metallic, and Bundle Monster plate BM312 (the cloud pattern) This time I only did my thumb and ringfinger because my time was running out. It would have been awesome to have this on all 10!

The last photos are taken inside under our chili growlamp... we already have red chilis ready to eat!

Silver foil

Putting in another wild card to the mix.... This is a mini from Wet'n'Wild I got in December of 2011 with the Secret Santa at PAA. I still don't know the name of it, so if anyone knows, please let me know! It acts as a silver foil and is really pretty in the sun!!

This one actually needed 3 coats to look like this. Maybe a fourth one could be beneficial, try if you like! It was a bit hard to apply due to all the reflection but the formula was ok.

Depend 47

I've had this one for a very long time and it was the first one I ever tried to make thinner... with the result that instead of gloppy it now is a bit too runny... I had to use 3 coats to make it glitter instead of the two coats needed when it's new! This is just a plain silver glitter polish from Depend, and as always just a number, 47. This one really looks better irl....

As I said, just a plain glitter and if you buy this now i guess it looks a lot better than mine...

Striped!

As I was not happy with the latest manicure I did, I changed it after just a couple of days. As I didn't want to have bare nails I painted them with Depend 47, a silver glitter you will get to see on it's own in a while, and then I use the Depend Art Liner in 1067, dark blue. Nothing fancy, but just easy and simple!

I love it! And it does glitter a lot more in real life! The Art Liner is really good and has a nice thin brush.

New Years Mani

Just realized I never took any photos of these.... Well, here they are, 3 days later and really worn. You'll have to stand it, haha :)

I started out with a image in my head with stamping, silver and blue polish. As I tried stamping with the polishes I've chosen I abandoned the idea and just painted my nails with Blue Heaven (2043) and Silver Ice (2045) from the Depend Mirror collection, the silver one went on my thumbs and ring fingers.

As I was painting and taking my time I realized that I actually have crackle polish in the right colors... Just to get them really sparkly I took Silver Flicks (812) and Mad Blue (814) from the Isadora Grafitti Collection and put the silver one over the blue polish and vise versa for the blue one... It really sparkles!!

It feels like my energy is on it's way back and I hope I can get more time to do my nails and blog about it!

Yves Rocher Minis

Remember these??

Rose Reflets, Or Scintillant, Ciel Bleu, Mauve Captivant, Argent Étincelant and Fleur de Lune

I've now caught up and swatched the remaining four... First out is the white that is really sheer and has a pink shimmer to it.... a bit hard to catch but I think you'll be able to see it!

The next one is Rose Reflets, also sheer and with a purple shimmer...

Next up is Mauve Captivant which is just as sheer, but is more pigmented than the others and has a pink shimmer. I used 3 coats for this one... This is probably the one I like the most of these little ones!

The last one of these is the silver one, Argent Étincelant, a glittering silver!
