French Beige

This is one of those French Manicure-style polishes again. I don't particulaly like this one, it's a bit to beige for me but for someone with a slight discoloration it's really nice. This is what it looked like on me....

On the two last ones I put the Depend 38 (Summer 2013) on my ringfinger-tip, just to see how it looked....

Lac Beige

Just as the name says, this shade is really beige. Clearly a good nude... A plain creme called Lac Beige (613) and i just blends in with my skin... not that good! But a good shade if that's the effect you're looking for!

Depend 263

A powder pink polish from Depend with the number 263 from the fall collection of 2011. I have not that much to saw about this polish. It behaves like any other Depend polish and goes on in only one coat it you like!

Not the right color for my skin, but a really nice fall color for one with a darker skintone!

Depend 192

Trying out this nude/beige color and I quite like it even though it's not really right for my skin tone, the nails kind of disappear.... The weather here in Sweden seen so continue beeing rainy so just a couple daylight photos this time!

As you can see I messed up the pinky on my left hand... right before it was time to take the pictures!

Depend 298

This is the first one of the colors of my Skittle mani. This one is an matte apricot polish from the Depend Spring Collection 2012 as said yesterday.I like the color and the finish, but it didn't go well with my skincolor.... looks a bit awkward and "invisible"!

Other than that it came on smooth and I got 2 coat on. No problem polishing and I had no issues with  drying time as I used Rapidry Spray on all of them!

January Haul

Since I'm not buying that much polish anymore I decided to put them all together at the end of the month! Sooo, here goes.... At the beginning of the month I was looking through the bargain-boxes in the stores and found these two goodies. A bright, almost neon, pink and a shimmering purple!

The same day I also found the striper polishes from Depend in new colors. I grabbed the pink and blue one!

Now at the end of the month Depend came out with their Spring Collection and I just had to have it!

Whole collection

293, 294, 295, 296 (all matte)

292, 299, 300 (cremes) and 304 (matte top coat)

298, 301, 302, 303 (all matte as well)

These purchases did have a bad effect on quantity of untried polishes.... This is the amount of polishes (plus some) that are untried.....

I'm pleased that I decided to do the 52 week challenge and choose the colors from this fan.... hopefully I can decrease the amount of polishes on here! Tell me if you are interested in seeing swatches of any of these and I'll see what I can do.

Depend 9

I like this color, but it's not good on me.... It just blend in with my skin tone. This one is also sheer, so you do get a VNL, although (as usual) it's nothing that a nice white polish can't fix!

This is a really salmon pink, almost peach, color. IN the photo I've used 2 coats and no top coat. The polish has a bit of shimmer in it and the finish is almost a frost.... I can see the brush strokes quite clearly. As I said, nothing for me, but perfect for a person with a darker skin color!
