White Dream

Also sheer? Yes, It is....

I seem to have a lot of these and I'm not quite sure what I'll do with them, we'll see!

This one also has a frosty look to it, but not as sheer as Icy Peony but you can still spot a VNL. It's called White Dream (302) from Isadora.

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 334

This is also a sheer one from the Fall of 2012.

I tried layering it just to see if it worked, but the base is not clear enough so it had to go on it's own. It is a creme colored base with a pink glitter in it. It took med three coats to cover most of the VNL and as I was polishing I didn't see the pink in the glitter.

Not one of my favorites, but it works..

Hope you enjoyed!

French Lily

I wanted to give you a proper swatch of this one even though it's made for a French manicured tip. This is French Lily (5).

It gives an uneven look if you try putting it on the whole nail, but for a nice French tip it work really well and the formula is great for that. Above I put 3 coats on and it's still not opaque enough to wear as a full manicure.

These last to photos is for you to see the difference. The first one is without any polish and on the second one I put 2 coats of French Lily just on the tip. It evens out any imperfection without looking to white.

Hope you enjoyed!

Pearly Frost

One of my many French manicure polishes.

This one is number 103 and I chose to show it both on white and on bare nail. I also tried it on top of black, but that didn't work!

As you can see it's really sheer, but it really does make that white look a lot nicer and if you just want a nice French manicure this one is prefect!

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 31

Just a plain old white polish.

This was also pretty hard to master and it didn't look that good, but I still wanted it to be on the blog for reference. All my white polishes seems to go this way after just one use....

As you can see the bottle isn't even half full.

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 293

Yet another one from the Depend Spring 2012. This is a frosty white that I really liked. It look like it has a pearl finish in the bottle, but it really i as matte frost. Easy to deal with and I recommend three coats of this one but I only used two for the photos.

I also put a shiny top coat on my ringfinger and pointer for the two last photos, but I can't really see a difference here....

Hope you enjoyed!

Gold and white art

Just some easy nailart to show a couple of my Depend Art Liners.

This is made with yesterdays Plum for a base and then I pulled out number 1061 (gold) and 1063 (white). These look like the regular Depend bottles but has a stripingbrush instead of the regular one and the price is a bit higher.

I started out with the gold one fanning out from the corner of my nail. I then added the with the same way and lastly one more go with the gold one. Looks ok i guess....

Week 27 - 4th of July

As I live in Sweden we don't celebrate 4th of July, but I still did my best! I was inspired by the American Flag, and I've seen a lot of manicures with accent nails in blue with stamped white stars. I wanted something else even though this is kind of similar....

The red is Isadora Passionate Red (24) with white Depend striper polish on top. The white is Isadora Glamour hite (649) and Spraycan Blue (805) on top.....

Hope you enjoyed!

Week 25 - Pride/Rainbow Mani

I'm on time!!

I love this kind of manicures with a lot of color!! I really wanted to do a sponge mani for this one, but change my mind and did a striped one instead....

As you can see I slipped a bit on my ring finger... these stripes are painted with my non dominant hand, hence the slipping.... But I'm happy and no one is going to inspect them more than me! :)

All polishes are Isadora, the base is Glamour White, then from tip in is Blue Lagoon, Ocean Green, Aloha and Bananas!

Hope you enjoyed!

Depend 32

I'm really trying to get swatches up for all those of my untried polishes so you'll get to see a lot of those in the future. This is Depend 32, a really sheer white one that after one coat looked really streaky and after tow coats it looked OK. This is a polish that I would be able to use underneath another sheer polish to get a more opaque look, but it's not that nice on it's own.

Maybe you could use this one as a base for a funky French or something.

Hope you enjoyed!

Week 18 - Cartoon Mani

I had to really think this one through and found out that I really don't have a favorite cartoon.... Instead I'm really into games and went back thinking about what my favorites are... and found this....

This is a game I played in my early teens in the nineties... Suplaplex! I don't know if any of you recognize it, but I really loved it and I'm pleased to be able to play it again even though it's quite old by now! I chose to practice my freehand for this and picked out a couple of icons from the game....

On my thumb you can see Supaplex himself, like a red kind of Pacman. On my index you have the evil scissor.... kind of like the ghosts in Pacman but they really follow you around fast! On my middle finger is the things you're supposed to collect. On the ring finger I have a diskette of the old kind. This yellow one is for blowing up stones. The pinky motive is the exit sign you have to locate to exit the level.

I've used both polish and acrylics for this one, the background colors are all Depend (Orange 242, Green 289 and black 39. The Blue is Wet'n'Wild Saved by the Blue, the gray is Depend 285 and the turqoise is Isadora Turquoise 114. The rest is acrylics.

This was/is my favorite game and it probably will be for a bit longer....

Hope you enjoyed!

Pearly Champagne

This was the base for my "St Patrick's Day" Mani and the color I wore a few days. It's from Isadora and named Pearly Champagne (75). It is a sheer white with gold shimmers and I really like it!

The gold shimmers were really hard to catch in the photo so you just have to believe me!

Hope you enjoyed!

French Recruitment

As I was going to an recruitment fair today I wanted my nails to look good, not my usual stained naked nails....

This time I chose a beige base with a pink shimmer (Isadora 09, Flourish Pink) and then a plain white tip (Isadora 603, Tip White). I freehanded the tip and I'm really proud that it looks quite god! Here it is....

January Haul

Since I'm not buying that much polish anymore I decided to put them all together at the end of the month! Sooo, here goes.... At the beginning of the month I was looking through the bargain-boxes in the stores and found these two goodies. A bright, almost neon, pink and a shimmering purple!

The same day I also found the striper polishes from Depend in new colors. I grabbed the pink and blue one!

Now at the end of the month Depend came out with their Spring Collection and I just had to have it!

Whole collection
293, 294, 295, 296 (all matte)
292, 299, 300 (cremes) and 304 (matte top coat)
298, 301, 302, 303 (all matte as well)
These purchases did have a bad effect on quantity of untried polishes.... This is the amount of polishes (plus some) that are untried.....

I'm pleased that I decided to do the 52 week challenge and choose the colors from this fan.... hopefully I can decrease the amount of polishes on here! Tell me if you are interested in seeing swatches of any of these and I'll see what I can do.

Hope you enjoyed!
