Black Sparkle

Another dark color, this time from Gallery Colors.

This one has a black base with a red glitter in it, hence the sparkle.

It covered in two coats but it was really hard because the brush wanted to take it all with it.... A lot of patience needed! Also the glitter rose to the surface on the nails and you will need a couple of coats of top coat to smooth it out.

Classic red glitter!

For this Christmas Eve I chose a classic red color with lots and lots of glitter! For the base I chose Depend 283 that has a silver shimmer in it. On top I put Gallery Colors, Red Sparkle (421). This is the finished result...

I just love it!! It makes my nails sparkle!! Sadly my cuticles looks like hell in this winter weather... cold and dry.

I want to show you how it looks outside on our balcony....

Lots of snow and icicles.... wonder what happens when the weather gets warmer :)

Colour of the month

I really must say that I've glanced too many times over at my glitter polishes and thought that i really like each and every one of them! So therefore, this month will not be a specific color, just anything that sparkles!!!

Gallery Colours 421

Well, I had to show you the other one as well. This one is called 421 and is just like the purple one really sparkly. The same drill with the brush, it is to thin for my taste and the formula is as I said runny and hard to get where you want it. I had to do 3 coats of this as well to get the nail covered in glitter!

I have a hard time wearing red but this one felt a bit better, maybe because of the sparkles...... even so, it came off pretty quickly.

Gallery Colours 422

This is one of my newest glitter-polishes with the fantastic name 422..... It´s a low end purple glitter in a clear base.

The formula is very runny and the brush i small and I found it a bit hard to control. But well on my nails, after 3 coats, it looked really good! Sparkles like a charm and the color is gorgeous!! The pictures are taken after wearing it for a couple of days hence the tipwear, but I wanted to show you anyway.

Valentine Red

I'm not a fan of red polish, but when my hubbie got me a bunch of polishes of Tradera I had to try! This is H&M Red Nail and on the middle fingers is also a layer of Gallery Colors Red Sparkle (421).

Gallery Colours is a brand I've never heard of, it was completely new to me, and the bottle was broken when it came..... so, when this was painted I only had a few drops of polish.....I searched the net high and low and found the poor website. As of a coincidence my youngest stepdaughter wanted some candy for the weekend and we went to out local candy/"dollar"-store called Pickaboo, and.... their it was! A whole display with Gallery Colours polishes and makeup.... I just had to have the bottle of Red Sparkle!

The H&M polish was really good, it applied easy and with almost no mess! We'll see how long it takes before I take it off.....I have a hard time liking the bright red.....

Tradera-haul

Tradera is just like E-bay, except in Swedish.

My honey got me some polishes from Tradera and here they are....In the first picture is the first lot. These are the ones that where whole when they arrived.... One of them, for me unknown brand, came in pieces. In the second picture, a new bottle of the broken one, that I just happened to find at our local candy/"dollar"-store by coincident!

In the above picture is from left to right: Viva la diva - 88, Depend - 87, Pieces - Candy Dandy, Yves Rocher - 91 Noir Intense, H&M - Red Nail, Kubiss - 59. Below is Gallery Colours in 421 - Red Sparkle.

In the above picture the second lot that arrived in the mail yesterday just in time for Valentines Day!! They are from Yves Rochers line Luminelle, just 3 ml and really cute! These had a number and a name on the bottom so from left to right: 03 - Rose Reflets, 12- Or Scintillant, 07 - Ciel Blue, 05 - Mauve Captivant, 08 - Argent Étincelant, 01 - Fleur de Lune. All of these were fabulous and had really good application!
