From now on you'll get the updates on new polishes once a month. Here are the latest polishes I bought in December.

They are all Isadora and from left to right: 727 - Merry Red, 642 - Zinfandel, 114 - Turquoise and 185 - Spellbound Black. As you might guess, the Turquoise one is my favorite and the red one grew on me really bad!

As soon as I have the time I will post some pictures I made this weekend, but between making them and a gingerbread house my time ran out! So, for now you'll get to see what's new in my collection. This is actually what I've bought in the last month.....

Sale!!

The next 4 photos are the new Depend X-mas collection. It was actually only released at ICA Maxi which is a grocery store.  We have a smaller version of the store here, but I made my sister-in-law get them for me in another town. Thanx a bunch!! There is still one missing, just like they did a couple of collections ago, so I hope it comes out soon.

 

 Below is the three polishes I brought home from Amsterdam. For these I had to make my BF wait for me outside (he didn't want to come inside with me....) so I felt a bit stressed and would have wanted to go into a couple more stores, but didn't have the heart to make the poor guy wait!

I know some of the photos are a bit out of focus, but you can still read, and thats what matters....

Display fan - news

I've decided to abandon the nailwheels for the display fan.... It's a lot easier to show whole collections and swatches of my new polishes this way. You'll probably see the wheels anyway on some occations!

Today the swatches of my KleanColor polishes is up, as well as three new Isadora and a couple of Kicks.

The photos are taken inside and I could not find a decent light in our apartment.... I'll try to get some better photos when the sun comes out in about 4-5 months time...

What is that you wonder.... well I'll show you!

I found these at e-bay when I was looking for a new way to display my collection and also for an easy way to take my swatches with me if I need to. They come in ziplock bags and I bought 2 for starters.

Each bag contains 50 "nails" and a screw to hold them together (you'll see) This is what they look like up close....

When I started the project of painting these I thought a bit about which brands to start with and my conclusion was: high-end brands, so I started with Isadora (maybe not high-end, but high enough) and then went on with OPI, Zoya, Color Club, Sinful Colors and China Glaze. All painted with 2 coats and then topcoat. I used my nice Helmer for drying space as it goes underneath my desk with a couple centimeters in between.

Every "nail" is marked with brand, number (or similar) and name (if it has one). The first is now 2/3 finished and it looks like this.....

I think that the rest of my polishes are going on these pretty soon, it fun to paint! The hard part is getting them organized looking good in the rainbow....
