Depend 6006

Pulling out my favorite one from the Magnetic Collecion 2012.

It really took me a long time to get this is because it apparently was everybody else's favorite too....

The collection came out on spring 2012 and I was finally able to put my paws on this one in September! It works just like any other magnetic polish. One regular coat and then one were you apply the magnet to get the shape. Worked like a charm, although I find the magnet a bit to small and these don't have that edge you sometimes need for support against the finger.

 When putting on the first coat you can't see the nice shimmer, it show up after the magnet has been applied.

Paradise Green

One of the most amazing colors, but so hard to catch the right shade with the camera!

Paradise Green (733) by Isadora is a green teal that I really can't describe. I'll show you the photos instead, see if I can at least give you a hint to what this beauty looks like! The top photo is edited in photoshop just to show you a more true color for the polish, ignore the strange color of the background!

It came in the summer of 2012 with the Papagayo collection and here I put two coats on.

The other photos is right from the camera both with and without filters, the last one without anything and I think the color is to blue.... How do you do when you take photos of a color like this?

Butterfly

This is an duo-chrome polish that I bought in June of 2012. It's probably older than that because I bought it on sale. It has the number 170 on top.

As I was trying it out I decided that it looked best on top of a black polish and I already had Ebony Hates Chris on my nails...

This could have used another coat, this is just one. But you can still see the tendenciy of green in it as well as the prominent purple/pink.

Depend 6002

This next magnetic polish has a strange brown base, a little hint to green is would I like to say. Just a sheer as 6000 and to put the magnet on the third coat is to recommend.

The magnet is round and a bit small, so it's hard to get the whole nail cover if you have wide nails, for example your thumb. This one gave a nice effect though....

Depend 6000

Just to keep the summer present for just a while longer I decided to present the Magnetic Collection from Depend that came out in summer of 2012. Earlier you've seen 6001, 6005 and 6011. Now the others will follow starting off with no 6000. This was before Depend started to name their special polishes.

This one has a green base and when you pus the magnet on it you get nice stripes and a green shimmer!

I played a bit with the magnet on this one, but then decided that horizontal lines gives the best result! Can you see that shimmer? It's gorgeous!

About the formula it's a bit sheer, as you can see my nail through the polish. I put one thin coat on and let it dry, the another coat and the magnet. You really should have two thin coats dry before you use the magent on the third coat. It will give a better result.

Laurel Green

Last one from the Holographic Collection 2012.

Called Laurel Green (2035) it is the most gorgeous of the bunch! I had to put on three coats, but it did dry fast so no problem.

SaGreena the Teenage Witch

Foresty green polish from Wet'n'Wild.

This time the brush was ok, but the formula was way to runny. Hard to get a decent look, but two coat was enough.

At least it looked good in the end, but you'll need patience with this brand!

Depend 221

A light green shimmer from the Spring Collection in 2011. You've seen it HERE right after I bought it, but as with a lot of other polishes from those days I wanted proper swatches of them!

This is a shade right between green and blue and I have a hard time deciding, but if you compare this one to the one you'll see in the next post this one is definitely more green!

I didn't manage to catch the sun for this one, but the shimmer is really nice. The weather was changing really fast and I thought I would manage....

Painted 2 coats and it was really easy to get a good look with this one!

Vintage Mint

As me and my friend Linda went into town earlier this summer we looked at polishes as usual. I was still hooked on to the green and looked at Bonbon Mint.... as that one was already tried I decided to take this minty color instead when we went to a dinner party at her house the same day! Here's Vintage Mint (619)!

Together with a black dress, a gray belt and some nice jewelery it matched perfectly! I could'n stop staring at my hands...

It really needed two coats and preferable a third as you can see on my middle finger. Otherwise it was a nice polish to paint with and it stayed on without any trouble!

Jolly Holly

Also another polish you've seen before, but I really wanted all my swatches to be just swatches so I'll show them again.

From China Glaze's colecction 'tis season to be naughty and nice (x-mas 2010) that I bought on sale with two of the other polishes (Mistletoe Kisses and Midnight Kiss) and I simply love it! This is how it looks in the sun...

It looks really dark in the bottle but it lights up in the sun and looks really great even in summer! Felt just as new to paint with and dried quickly.

Ocean Drive

This is Ocean Drive (712) from the Trend Nails Collection in Spring/Summer 2012.

It is a sharp cool mint green color that is perfect for summer! Two coats is enough and it's easy to paint with as most of the Isadora polishes are.

Creme finish that looks good with tanned skin.

Magic Green

I found this polish at Tradera earlier this year and just could not resist it!!

I'm not sure when this one came out, but the number is 74 so I guess it has been in the game for a while. I wore it to a musical festival in mid June called Bråvalla were we listen to a lot of band, but the great finale was Green Day. This polish just fit right in! My computer has been down, otherwise it would have been up right after we came home....

It needed two coats and almost a third. The green color is amazing, just like grass and it really pops in the sun!!

I love it and I think I'm in a green faze right now, I just love green!

Lime

When I ordered it off Ebay I did imagined  it a bit more green, but when I got it, it was a lot lighter than I expected. Either way I like the color! Here it is...

This one is also sheer and I am wearing three coats in these photos. Another problem was the brushmarks and it was really hard to get a smooth finish! But at least the color is pretty!

Bonbon Mint

This is a nice minty green color with a nice silver shimmer in it, a bit dusty in the shade. Looks really nice in the sun and I could easily wear this always!

It was a bit hard to apply - as you can see - but with some time and effort is should not be a problem!
