French Rose

This is a really nice polish for those of you who like the classic French manicure. It is a creamy white, a bit to the beige. It only needs one coat to look good as the base and if you put one more on top when you are done with the white tips it will look perfect! It is from Isadora and the name is "French Rose" (06) and says "French Manicure" besides the name. I used this as the base for this weeks Challenge-entry just to even out my nail color as you want to do with a foundation!

For ones I can wear my nails long during the winter and it is all thanks to Nail Envy! I keeps my nails strong and they don't break as easily. I even feel like they peel a lot less than before! These nails are still growing, that's why they are a bit uneven.... a bit more and I will fix them!

Haul

This week I made the choice to sell a couple of my old gold-necklaces. They were just laying around, not being used at all for several years. I got a bit of money and wanted to spoil myself and restock a bit....

In our local Kicks-store they had take 3, pay for 2 on all Depend polishes, so I rounded up a Nail Strengthener and a Nail Serum. Then I had a problem.... which color to choose.... I have sooo mäny of them now that it's getting hard. Finally I chose number 136 (and no, they don't have any fancy names, sorry), a nice light pink. Hopefully I can cover up the yellow staining that has appeared on my nails....

I also wanted a top coat, as I ran out and didn't like that much..... Sooo, I looked for something that was cheaper and supposed to dry my nails quickly. I ended up with this:

So far I've tried it twice and it has kept its promise to dry your nail polish so that it is touchable after 1 minute. I'll keep trying this until I'm out and then we'll see if I buy it again. Even if it doesn't dry that quickly I still needed a top coat.....

French White

Since my nails have grown a bit and I finally can wear a nice french manicure, I decided to do this!

The base colour is Spring Sparkle (81) from Isadora, just to get some life into it. The tip is made with Tip White (603) also from Isadora. For the line I used my dotting tool and the Depend Art Liner in Silver and my Depend 47, Silver glitter.

The art liner is really thin and it was hard to get even dots and the silver glitter-polish was on the other hand so thick that it almost didn´t come out of the bottle!! Anyways, I'm OK with it....

Depend 225

When I was swatching the green colurs I just fell in love with this really bright spring green!! Even though I don't like frosts, this one is really good and not as streaky as a frost usually is. It dries semi-matte and therefore I put a layer of Isadoras Spring Sparkle on top....

Black/White

This nailwheel is also short of colours... a black is a black in my mind, although I have learnt that they can infact be different in different lightings. Here's mine anyways....

Mini Haul!

A while ago I found this gorgeous clear glitter/shimmer polish and a black with multicoloured shimmer in it from Depend. I also found the same kind of clear glitter/shimmer polish from Isadora and the looked a tad different in the bottle so I got that one too. The white Isadora was just a complement since I lacked a white one....

Last week I found the Depend Cracked Effect polishes at my local Kicks-store and helped myself to the blue and purple one! The purple will show up in tomorrows post.... Here comes a few pictures....
