Violet Vain

This polish looks almost black in the bottle, but if you look closely, you can see the purple.

The name is Violet Vain (633) from IsaDora and it came with the Glitzy collection for the Holidays in 2010. As I was new in the game at that time I hadn't really discovered the joy of all the colors and it took me until the summer of 2012 until I bought it!

The color is deep and it's really hard to see the purple even on the nails.

Love it, it makes me think of my bff Linda!

Butterfly

This is an duo-chrome polish that I bought in June of 2012. It's probably older than that because I bought it on sale. It has the number 170 on top.

As I was trying it out I decided that it looked best on top of a black polish and I already had Ebony Hates Chris on my nails...

This could have used another coat, this is just one. But you can still see the tendenciy of green in it as well as the prominent purple/pink.

A dark blue in the bottle but when I put the magnet to it it sparkles and the lines become purple! Did the magnet on the third coat.

Don't have that much more to say, I really like it!

Purple with a dark blue and purple shimmer, amazing!

I did as I did with the others, two regular coats and put the magnet on the third. I like the darkness of this beauty and the sparkles!

Plum

Purple, nothing special but for the holographic effect.

This one is called simply Plum (2030) and two coats was enough to cover.

Just as gorgeous as the others!

Electric Light

Time for a magnetic polish!

Here I'll show you Electric Light (857) by Isadora. I like the magnet on this one that does not make  just straight lines but has a little bump on them. Well, I'll show you...

I put one regular coat and then put the magnet on the second. In some cases I had to do it both three and four times to get it good. It was hard to get the lines even over the nails, but I like it anyways!

Trying to complete the summer of 2012 and this is the third last one.

A pruple with, like the brown one, a green shimmer to it. Here you get to see the green a bit more! This formula was a bit sheer but in the photos I put two coats.

Buffy the Violet Slayer

The same kind of polish as "Saved by the blue" but this time Purple/Violet!

Can't complain really.... the brush was OK and two coats enough!

 Purple and shiny, what more can you ask for?

An old polish from the summer collection of 2010. It originally came out with the spring collection in 2009, before I got interested and then relaunched. It has been one of my favourite colors because of the shine and the deep purple shade and I'm sad to see the bottle is less than half... It was a bit hard to paint with due to little left in the bottle and age. Looks pretty good anyways...

A polish from the summer collection last year. On first glance it looks like another light lilac creme polish but when you look close, or in my case start polishing, you can see a nice silver shimmer in it!

It's a bit sheer but I settled with two coats anyway and it worked.

Very pastel, just like the lilacs you see in peoples gardens - just lovely!

Icy Lilacs

This one I bought for the sparkles in it!

It's called Icy Lilacs (730) from the Isadora Pearls of Passion Collection 2012 and is a light purple (lilac) with blue/purple shimmer in it. It was really sheer so I would recommend layering it on top of another polish. Here I've put three coats on...

The shimmer was hard to catch on camera but you can see a glimpse of it in the photos. I can also tell you that it made an reappearance in the 2013 summer collection, so I hope you can catch it!

Sweet Violet

Just like the name says, Sweet Violet! It's by Isadora and the number is 630. It has a pink/purple shimmer that shows up really well in the sun. In the shade and in the bottle it looks just lite any other shimmer polish....

Back to the spring of 2012 again... This is the other purple in the collection and it is darker than the other one. It has a creme finish and has an easy application. I let you see the photos now, feels like I'm just about to ramble....

Third one from the Spring 2012. This lilac shade is one of my favorite shades of purple. I did actually enhance the blue in the camera to get a more accurate color. You can see the difference between photo 1 and 2....
