Depend 6000

Just to keep the summer present for just a while longer I decided to present the Magnetic Collection from Depend that came out in summer of 2012. Earlier you've seen 6001, 6005 and 6011. Now the others will follow starting off with no 6000. This was before Depend started to name their special polishes.

This one has a green base and when you pus the magnet on it you get nice stripes and a green shimmer!

I played a bit with the magnet on this one, but then decided that horizontal lines gives the best result! Can you see that shimmer? It's gorgeous!

About the formula it's a bit sheer, as you can see my nail through the polish. I put one thin coat on and let it dry, the another coat and the magnet. You really should have two thin coats dry before you use the magent on the third coat. It will give a better result.

Depend 312

A brown is next in line for the summer of 2012.

This one has a subtle green shimmer that I didn't manage to catch on camera...  Anyway, light brown and easy to deal with. Two coats is enough.

Baroque Red

Found this burgundy orange shade really nice and it's the kind of color my mom always used to wear when I was little.

This one is called Baroque Red (09) and is a light burgunde with a copper shimmer. I really like it! It matched my skintone and it brought back memories.... It went on sooth and two coats was enough!

I have a few more kind of like this one and they are all special but the base is burgundy in some way.

Silver Sky

A nice blue shade called Silver Sky (731) from the Pearls of Passion collection by Isadora in 2012.

I was really easy to work with and I put on two coats. I don't really have anything to say about this one so I'll show you the photos instead...

It has a nice silver shimmer but it was really hard to capture. I would call this shade "light blue jeans" because that is what it looks like to me!

Icy Lilacs

This one I bought for the sparkles in it!

It's called Icy Lilacs (730) from the Isadora Pearls of Passion Collection 2012 and is a light purple (lilac) with blue/purple shimmer in it. It was really sheer so I would recommend layering it on top of another polish. Here I've put three coats on...

The shimmer was hard to catch on camera but you can see a glimpse of it in the photos. I can also tell you that it made an reappearance in the 2013 summer collection, so I hope you can catch it!

Spellbound black

The name says it all!

When I found this bottle I was truly Spellbound! At first glance it's black.... but if you check again closer it has a nice blue shimmer that I fell in love with! On the sad part... it didn't show up that good on the nails. I'll show you....

You only see a hint of the sparkles on my thumb... Well, it's gorgeous anyway!

Plum

This lovely redbased purple one is called Plum (116) and has a subtle gold shimmer. I've been wanting to try this out for a while now, and here it is!

Two coats here to is just enough and it looks good!

Depend 291

The last one for the X-mas 2011 collection and as I painted my nails with this one I realized that it was a lot lighter than I expected. I thought that I would be a graphite grey with shimmer and it turned out to be a nice silver, somewhere between metallic and foil in texture..... Love it!!

It's feels a bit sheer. This is two coat and I'm happy, but it almost needs a third.

Depend 290

A medium brown shade and not to forget the shimmer in it. It's a really nice shade, a bit lighter than in the bottle and that was just nice. Two coats and you're all set with this one!

This brown works really well with my skintone also, not many browns/nudes do that!

Bronze Patina

This one is from the Isadora collection called Forest Groove 2011.

It is a dark brown with golden and purple shimmer that makes a fantastic combination. The golden shimmer shows up very well but I didn't manage to catch any purple glimpses, but they are there as far as I can see in the bottle and on my swatchstick!

Green!!

Almost green as grass.... Do I have to tell you about the shimmer today?? Well, it's there! Here is two coats but as with a couple of the others you might want to put a third one on to avoid VNL. I really love this color!

Just 4 more to go....

Now, a dark blue shimmer from the X-mas collection 2011. This is really dark, almost black and I found that just one coat was necessary. If you want to be thorough add a second one to cover your free edge getting rid of some tipwear.

Blue with a shimmer, what a surprise!

I like this shade, just the right one for me. I needed two coats and it sparkles very nice in the sun!
This is two coats and on the verge of VNL but not at all disturbing as with some other polishes.

Now we're going on to the darker shades of the Depend X-mas collection 2011, starting off with the black one. A nice black with tiny silver shimmer (as in every polish in this collection)

I really like it and two coats was enough here to.
