Haul!!

Well... I thought I'd buy more polishes when I was away to a really big mall this weekend, but sadly I came home with only 4 and one is "Start to Finish" by Kiss. The other three is a ridge filler from Kubiss and a black and a white shimmer from Claudia. To the left is "Glistening Snow" and to the right "Glamorous Black"

Yesterday I went to my local Kicks-boutique and looked for the new Depend collection for fall, but the had their delivery today and wasn't done unpacking it yet... so nothing this time, I'll have to check again tomorrow. I did purchase to of their own polishes just to try them out. The left is "Fab Jean" and to the right is "Electric Blues"

At Ullared I also bought some nail sticker, a buffer, cuticle balm and the above mentioned "Start 2 Finish" but I think those picture are plain boring......

Cracked effect

I decided to put Depend Cracked Effect 5002 (blue) on top of Kubiss no 59, and this is the result... A subtle look that does not sting your eyes, but i yet easily visible....I also felt that I've had my crackle-polishes for a long time now and wanted to show them to you....

I've only tried the Isadora Black Tag Grafitti polish earlier so I'm gonna compare it to that! This one is not as easy to put on as the Isadora one, but is not too difficult. It cracks just after a few seconds which is good, you don't have to wait for the effect.... If you manage to get only a thin layer it cracks small and a thicker layer cracks big, so you can choose!

I was actually a bit dissapointed with the color. In the bottle it looks like a deep blue shimmery color but when it dries matte the shimmer won't come out and play as much.... The last picture show a bit of shimmer and I think the shimmer in the base-color shine through as well.

Over all I think it's a fun way to spice up your nails if you got bored with having just a plain colour on your nails or want to do something a bit different!

Kubiss 59

This is a brand that I had not heard of until I got it in my hand.... My boyfriend got it from Tradera with some other polishes and it took me some time to figure out where you can by them.

I found out that you probably can buy these att Gekås in Ullared and at Dollarstore in Sweden. It originates from London (click HERE to go to Kubiss website).

As for the polish itself, as I checked the Kubiss website for the colors I found out that this color, shade no. 59 is Grey.... nothing else! When I check it out in the bottle and on the swatch I did, it is more to black and I think it has a hint of red. It also has a slight shimmer in it. I like it...

Application was a bit hard and therefore you can see that I was not completely able to avoid my cuticles and did not have time to clean it up. The brush is small, too small for my liking, and it makes the application a bit harder. I do not think I can give a proper comment on the formula yet, just because I didn't buy this in the store and don't know if it had been opened and/or used before I got it but I found it a bit thick. This is three coats just to get it even and opaque.

On to my blacks, whites and grays.... I have a fancy for silver and some shades of gray as you can see. Also the shimmer is something that I really like....

No 16 has a pink hue to it that is visible in some angels.

Tradera-haul

Tradera is just like E-bay, except in Swedish.

My honey got me some polishes from Tradera and here they are....In the first picture is the first lot. These are the ones that where whole when they arrived.... One of them, for me unknown brand, came in pieces. In the second picture, a new bottle of the broken one, that I just happened to find at our local candy/"dollar"-store by coincident!

In the above picture is from left to right: Viva la diva - 88, Depend - 87, Pieces - Candy Dandy, Yves Rocher - 91 Noir Intense, H&M - Red Nail, Kubiss - 59. Below is Gallery Colours in 421 - Red Sparkle.

In the above picture the second lot that arrived in the mail yesterday just in time for Valentines Day!! They are from Yves Rochers line Luminelle, just 3 ml and really cute! These had a number and a name on the bottom so from left to right: 03 - Rose Reflets, 12- Or Scintillant, 07 - Ciel Blue, 05 - Mauve Captivant, 08 - Argent Étincelant, 01 - Fleur de Lune. All of these were fabulous and had really good application!
