Flower Power

As we were having dinner with friend on the theme "Come dine with me" I had to somehow magically pull an outfit out of my existing wardrobe as I don't have enough money to go shopping for fun! It resulted in a brown and gold dress that I haven't worn for a loooong time and.... as a polish-junkie I had to have nails to match....

This is what I came up with:

I've used Depend 208 as a background. It's a really nice dark brown colour from the Fall/Winter collection 2010. On top I did Konad with imageplate m64 (the flower pattern) and Depend 224 from their latest Spring Collection and then I added brown/gold rhinestones in the middle of whatever flower I could.... I just put the pattern randomly and so was the rhinestones!

The necklaces in the first picture was also a part of my outfit! And... if you're interested, the food and the company was great!

When I was surfing around other blog I found a design that I really loved. On top of that I realized I had the material to almost copy it. THIS is the original design by My Simple Little Pleasures.... and below you can see mine. Thanx for the inspiration Colette!

I've used China Glaze Misteltoe Kisses as base, wore for a day and the stamped with black konad special polish and konad imageplate m64. I loved it and wore it until it started to chip!!

I wanted to fix up the yellow mani that I had on and tried doing Konad with black special polish. I had BIG trouble this time and abandoned the look and want for this one instead. I've hesitate to post this mani just because I don't like it but here goes....

The base is Depend 210 and the konad is made with Isadora Petrol Posh (703) and Konad imageplate m64. The picture is taken outside in daylight after a few ours outside helping them stack wood for the remaining winter/spring, hense the bad dried cuticles!!

Första försöket med Konad på hela nageln. Ville visa denna design trots att den inte är perfekt! Det tar några försök innan du har fått in snitsen, men när man väl lärt sig blir det riktigt snyggt. Ser verkligen fram emot att fortsätta leka med Konad!

In english: First try with full nail Konad. I wanted to show this design even though it's not perfect! It takes a few times before you get the hang of it, but once you've learned it get really nice. I'm very excited to continue playing with Konad!

Leafy Autumn

Äntligen får jag presentera ett av Depends lack från höstkollektionen! Ett härligt höstgrått lack med lite metallic-känsla över sig. När jag tittade runt bland de bloggar jag följer hittade jag inspirationen till den här designen hos painted Lady Fingers.
